A horror film directed by Brian De Palma based on a novel written by Stephen King.

Basically follows the story of a young girl named Carrie who is shielded by her heavily religious mother from the world. She's a target of bullying and harassment in the school, and also possesses the power of telekinesis.

A bit through, one of the girls who had ridiculed her feels guilt, and asks her boyfriend to ask Carrie to the senior prom. The word gets out quickly, and some others have different plans for the prom.

Good film. It's definitely worth a watch. Kinda drug on at some points but it was pretty stylish towards the end and an interesting story regardless.
