Cannibal Holocaust remains to this day as one of the most controversial films of all time.

The film tells the story of a team of documentary film-makers who have gone missing in the Amazon jungles and shit. A rescue team is sent to find them, but instead they find their film reels, revealing their violent fate.

It was highly fucking graphic, and many people actually accused it of being a snuff film. The actors signed a contract not to appear in any public media for one year after the films release in order to make it seem genuine I guess.

Well, the director was arrested, and had a fuckton of explaining to do. Fortunately he was able to avoid charges of murder and get his film unbanned.

The only real genuine killing in the movie is actually that of animals, which I kinda agree, is fucked up and could have totally been avoided. The director even regrets this.

But yeah, very interesting film. Give it a watch sometime if you want to witness some fucking film history.

I'd post the trailer but

yeah

Snuff films probably do exist, it's an interesting subject. People are very willing to put themselves and other peoples lives in danger to appear in the media. Examples being Jackass, Nitro Circus, The Dirty Sanchez and The Pain Olympics. I happen to know a group of people who made a low budget film in which there were acts of torture, they decided that all the scenes have to be enacted for real to achieve the level of realism they wanted to achieve. The worst of the scenes in there short movie was a stapling scene in which his arms, legs and abdomen were stapled multiple times. In the film this was depicted as a method of torturing information out of him. He was reluctant to allow them to staple his head or chest though.

I am 100% positive that Snuff films must have been made by someone at some point. It is known that sadists have kept photographs and recordings of there reactions so that they can look back over them at there own leisure. A lot of people out there enjoy watching movies involving violence, torture, death and pain. And as I said above people enjoy watching movies which people intentionally harm themselves and each other. There are almost certainly sick people out there and some of them would jump at the opportunity to purchase a Snuff movie if they got the chance.

Oh yeah, they definitely exist. Though whether or not they've been passed off through the theaters undetected is definitely a mystery..

Pretty sure it's on Alluc. Not sure if it's censored at all though, that'd be the biggest issue with online streaming versions.

I see it on Alluc, but I can't watch it since Divx is fucking gay on my computer.

LMAO skull fucking is something that should be in more films. It's disgusting, disturbing and it makes a direct connection between the two scariest concepts Love and Death. It also looks (Dare I say it?) fun...
